Troubleshooting
If PixelWhimsy does not appear to be working correctly, there are three things you can do to help me diagnose the problem:
- Run Microsoft's dxdiag.exe utility, save a report, and send that to support@pixelwhimsy.com. To run the utility, go to Start->Run, type in "dxdiag.exe" and press enter.
- Look for a file in the PixelWhimsy program folder called pixelWhimsyErrors.log and send that to support@pixelwhimsy.com.
Known Issues
- [ Note: this has been addressed in Version 1.0.8] On certain computers, the mouse cursor will not show up in the drawing window. We are currently investigating this issue.
- [ Note: this has been addressed in Version 1.0.7] On some computers, the application comes up normally and sounds are heard, but the graphics are not displayed and the user cannot draw with the mouse or the keyboard. We are currently investigating this issue. If you see this problem, please follow the troubleshooting steps above and send us the needed information.
